I am not sure I understand, Occam. Sorry.

1. You said in post #46 that you were bored.  2. You have indicated that much of personality is genetically determined.  3.  You’ve indicated that you have two boys.  Therefore, I was curious as to whether your boredom was passed on (genetically) to your boys.  Geez, explanations ruin everything.

Damn, I was certain you had three.  I don’t know why I wrote two.  When I end a comment with or use that as a clue to guide you to figuring out the meaning.

It looks to me as if you are expressing various emotions one might have in some sort of horrific life threatening event.  Were you in Nam?  Maybe you’re having a flashback.
