Is the Army using alternative medicine?  If not , this video is pointless.

Wow… it’s a comedy video about the worthlessness of alternative medicine. The Military setting is to up the humor level….

But yes, they are…. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1o898P_baA This is just one example of alternative medicine in the military.

So it’s not pointless…

Wait why would you think it’s pointless otherwise?

Oh Dammit, it seems that some military base hospitals are offering acupuncture; but not in place of real medical treatment - and definitly not in the field.  I thought the video was too surreal to make any valid satirical point.

It’s a sketch. That’s what makes it funny… and satirical. Need I bring up Johnathan Swift and the “Modest Proposal.” One of the greatest pieces of satirical literature?

Yeah, but they directly stole from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXoCo8elnxA. At least I have a different setting. I actually didn’t see the others before I wrote it. You never really do that. No matter what you write, somebody has done it before. You just do it in your own way.

It doesn’t say that field medical personel are actually using acupuncture to treat combat wounds - but they possibly could.  That’s frightening.  Holy S***!
