It would be worth it to party with these people!

From that cross section I don’t know.  The male to female ratio is a little askew.
Of course if I end up in hell, I won’t limit myself to partying with atheists.  They’ll all be bummed out because they were wrong.
No, I’ll be heading for all of the catholic girls who didn’t make the cut.  Truly, all of the believers down there will be partying waaay harder than the atheists!

Looks like more reputable company then the sort of people you’d be rubbing elbows with in Heaven. Tomas De Torquemada for example.

Maybe Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman will bring Kari Byron along. NOW we’ve got a party.

I think they could have added more than five women though.

That is an interesting and realistic observation.

Not many more than five though.

Yes, in addition to the six shown, they could have added at least Jessica Ahlquist, Greta Christina, Natalie Reed, Ophelia Benson, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Maryam Namazie, Christina Rad, and of course Aliaa Magda Elmahdy.

Excellent, but an aside that still points out a problem.  I recognize fewer of the women than I did of the men.  I don’t know if it’s just me, or if the women got less notice and publicity.

Me too. My personal view is that there are far fewer women who publicly come out as atheists (for whatever reason) both among celebrities and regular folks. So it’s much easier to find a couple dozen men than women with instantly recognizable faces. Cryin’ shame, I say. As to why that is the case, well a lot of people have tried to figure that out, haven’t they? (Same issue with lack of ethnic diversity, at least in North America.)

That is a real problem.  For example, my wife had a great sense of humor, but few knew it because she’d whisper her brilliant, witty observation to me, refuse to say it aloud and I’d get the credit for being clever because I’d repeat her comment.

I doubt women themselves would think that this is a problem. Women are generally busy dealing with the real problems: “is it a diaper rash on my baby or something more serious?” In the meanwhile we, the men, are busy trying to figure out the two envelope problem, free will and the historicity of Jesus. It’s just that things like the historicity of Jesus are so much more important and intellectually stimulating than baby skin rashes. We are brilliant and amazing. cheese

My wife used to tell me that.  Now I wonder if she meant it or if it was just another example of her wit?  big surprise

I have my own theories but, I’d sure like to hear from an actual woman on this topic. We do have a few here.
