My fave so far: “Orderliness transcends unbridled experience.”

I shared the link on my FaceBook page. Some of my friends are into that sort of woo. Always good to tweak them a bit.

Dude, we must have been separated at birth. I did the exact same thing for the exact same reason. One of my friends who reads Chopra but was trying to appear somewhat rational, said: “Yeah, he sells a lot of books by saying the same things over and over, but slightly restated.” Or something to that affect.

To which I replied: “And it’s all bullshit.”

So far, no response.  LOL

None so far for me. Most of my friends are at work right now. We’ll see if anyone bites overnight.

I think the computer is trying to say keeping the back yard manicured is better than taking your motorcycle to a club track day. shrug.gif

You know what would be really funny? I’d bet someone could write an entire essay or hell, even a book, and make it look like some mysterious new age wisdom from hucksters like Chopra. It would be hilarious to do that, post it online, and watch the suckers swallow it!

Quoting Darron, who’s quoting DC:

“Orderliness transcends unbridled experience.”

Does it, therefore, follow that - Bridled experience transcends orderliness?  smile

My wife has some books by him and I’ve seen the odd video of him speaking.  So when I read, “Wisdom from Deepak Chopra”, it makes me think of phrases like “blood from a stone” and “when pigs fly.”

I think we should work on making it an idiom in common use.  As it stands now it has too many syllables to make it a hit, so we should just make it “wisdom from Chopra.”

Some examples…
-My boss is so cheap, getting a raise from him is like getting wisdom from Chopra.

-Terri: “When do you think the Flames will win the Stanley Cup?”
Pat: “When you hear wisdom from Chopra.”
