So how is the old place? Still getting along okay without me irritating everyone with endless terrible jokes and inane posts of mildly amusing news articles?
In case anyone who remembers me is still here and wonders where I went, my laptop died. It went kaplutsky. And then a whole bunch of other crap happened (much of which is still going on). There were some problems, some stresses, some words, a flock of seagulls, and maybe a few fires. Long story short, I didn’t have the means, time, or inclination to do much involving the interwebs for a while there. A long while.
Anyway, I don’t have net access at home and my neighbors don’t have their wireless net anymore. Not that I can really use it for this anyway. Ever try writing more than five words with a PS3 controller? So I’m sitting here at the library, where values are king, using their computers. So I’ll be on here only sporadically. Right now, I’m shooting for once or twice a week or so. We’ll see how things pan out on my end.
DM! I know you don’t know this but you’re one of the reasons I joined the site. Your cartoon of the Allasaurus cracked me up, also zombie jesus to mention a few. Free thinking irreverence drew me in. Also enjoyed reading your posts. Welcome back man!
I had planned to say something, but I see that everyone who posted ahead of me has beat me to it. Boy oh boy, how I’ve missed you. Even if you can post only once or twice a week, that’s far, far better than having you gone. I love most of the posters here, but you are one of the half dozen or so that I think are extra special. Now, if only Jules could come back.
CC, that lolcat looks a lot my cat. And after what he’s done to our office chair I am very, very glad we don’t own a leather couch. He’s lucky he’s a surrogate for a child. (I’m terrified of children.*shrugs*)
