Did they take a vacation? They do work very hard, or are they on strike? Do we need to offer better working conditions? Come back smilies, we miss you! :(

Ah, you have a point, Asanta.  Do you think they’ve formed a union?  Should we offer to negotiate?  Let’s see, we could allow them to be whatever color they wanted to be.  They could change their expression if they thought we mis-chose them for the meaning of preceding sentence.  They should be paid overtime if we use more than two of them in a post.  Any other ideas of things we could offer them to tempt them to return?
