Doug, Occam, how do you keep up with all the crap people trying dumping here!

My sympathies and thanks for your diligent house cleaning, and I bet I don’t see the half of it.

I’d sent out a big huggie smilie, but i hear they are still on strike, as though you folks didn’t have enough haddocks already.

We’re under attack. I think the moderators haven’t had their coffee.

Having moderated and administered other boards, I can tell you it is a tireless, thankless job. We probably see less than 10% of it.

Nothing at all out of the ordinary. I usually catch this stuff early in the morning, East Coast time, and frequently during the day, but I’m in Europe now traveling so my times to access the Forum are odder and more broken up.

As a result you’re seeing more of what I catch regularly ...

So that’s how the sausage is made! Messy!

I should add that the other Mods do a great job of catching the crap as well. But stuff does find a way of falling through the cracks sometimes ...

Each of the mods catch a moderate amount, but when Doug was temporarily out of contact I was shocked at the amount that came in.  I think Doug catches ten for every one that each of the rest of us catch. 

My main enjoyment comes when I see a spam post come on and I’m able to delete it in seconds, right under the spammer’s nose.
