Long Time ago i saw some sort of documentary about the chinese rulers of ancient times, and they said that there was an emperor who tried to become immortal through having intercourse with one-thousand (1000) Virgins. He failed, he died somewhere after No 700 and something (maybe from a stroke).
Does anyone know which one of the Chinese emperors he was?

The Yellow Emperor - Xuanyuan was his given name according to wiki. I’m sure that if he did attempt to deflower 1000 virgins in a row, he would have died before number 700!
I should have been more accurate on the details: Not in a row, but before he would die of other causes, and i dont know if it would have made him immune to Swords, Arrows or 1000 Mothers-in-Law
I try to envision the reasoning he had to arrive at that idea, but I keep coming up with the conclusion that he was stupid, both for the whole idea, and for selecting virgins rather than more experienced women.

Weird. That’d be only one a day for less than three years. O_o You’d think an awesome legendary ruler would have a bit more virility than that.
I just don’t get the obsession with virgins. It can’t be much fun to have sex over and over again with women who have no idea what they are doing…I know I would much rather have an experienced lover than a fumbling virgin, they are much more fun.
