Oh God no!  I blame global warming.  Also, liberals.

A question though: who cares?  Whatever the math is it’s billions of years in the future.  Who gives a damn?

EDIT
Whoopsadaisy.  Put this in the wrong section.  Will some kind person with the appropriate powers please move it?

You’re wish is my command, DM.  LOL

Hey, that’s tricky.  The thread title is still in the religion section, but when I go to it, it automatically kicks me to here.

Can we be that sure about the end through dark matter?
To bad that life wont exist forever, it took 3,5 billion years to “make” us, maybe much longer to make something more advanced, that would be a sad thing.

Are physicists too dumb to figure out when science is irrelevant.  LOL

Keynes said it best, “In the long run we are all dead.”

Whether something happens 5 billion or 6 billion or 12 billion years after I am dead does not make a hell of a lot of difference.

Climate Change over the next 200 years is more important even if I will be dead anyway.

Hoping this is not going to confuse the issue ever more, but ran across this little article of interest.

The Conversion of a Climate-Change Skeptic
Richard A. Muller, a professor of physics at the University of California, Berkeley, and a former MacArthur Foundation fellow, is the author, most recently, of “Energy for Future Presidents: The Science Behind the Headlines.”

With the global warming, the Mayan calendar coming to a close, and whatnot people need to be more aware of their imminent death than ever before.  You’re all gonna die!

In 16.7 billion years.

I hope that idea about creating a new universe with space-bending Lasers will work out one day, it could save life itself and create a new duty free zone.
I wonder if it one day will be illegal to create an universe because of taxes etc.

Science is an abstraction.  It is incapable of caring about anything.

Abstractions can be intellectually entertaining to human beings however.  Or any other intelligent beings if they exist.  It is just good to realize it is pseudo-intellectual bullsh#.

Oh my god! I’m running Amuck here! No heaven, no new earth, no Noah’s ark type space ship! I feel like an ant being burned by a brat with a magnifying glass! This ain’t freekin’ fair. Maybe those nerdy scientists can get us out of this delimna before It’s too late! Now they’re talking about the multiverse branes and their collisions causing the big bang. And us with only a few billion years left to survive! Damn, being an atheist is hard; we can’t ask skydaddy to intercede any more. Maybe I’ll call up Jesus’s mom. Yeah, she’ll help us. big surprise

That is a theist statement, unless Science here is used in the abstract… cheese

Low socioeconomic country cares, because they r the victim. Technlogy flutter the world to the end. Day after tomorrow will be the nearest day for that….......uhh ohh

Ahsan, I agree.
How much good could have been done with all the money spent on resources and technology for warfare instead of cooperation?

Of course. When referring to the deity, one must capitalize it thus: Science. You did that; I did not. LOL
