Instead of “Merry Christmas” a few years ago I began saying, “Happy Holidays” and referred to X-Mas parties as holiday parties. To me I guess it was about being “pc” and being respectful of others religious observations. I mean, it just seems so careless to wish someone Merry Christmas if that person celebrates Chanukah.
Now that I’m more skeptical about how the world works, general holiday greetings resonate with me even more.
