My heavens! If we did that Romney would have been a shoe in easily. No women voters, no Natives, no African-Americans (except 3/5ths of your slaves), no immigrants, especially Mexicans, no Asians, no gays ( leaving out James Buchannon later), no bi’s no poor landless whites ; man, that pretty much wipes out the dem. party. The constitutionalists want a return to an “era of good feelings”. Only WASP men in power.

It would have no negative effect only if you’re in a solidly blue state.  If you’re in a red state or one on the cusp your vote is completely wasted and you’re asking for trouble. It would have had no more effect than not voting at all. By voting for a third party you were helping the right wingers to win in your state. Was that your intention?
