Is there a way to make sure that I don’t miss replies made to my replies? After not using the forum for a couple of days, how can I keep track of the threads I contributed to?

When you hit “Post Reply” or “Fast Reply” you should see a checkbox below labeled: “Notify me via email when someone posts in this thread”. If that box is checked, an email should be sent to your address every time someone posts in that thread.

Also in Your Control Panel, Email Settings there is a checkbox labeled: “Enable email notifications by default when you post messages”. If you have that box checked, the system should automatically put checks in the “email notification” boxes for you when you post.

(Although I don’t think it will do so for previously posted messages).

But NB: if you post a lot this may provide you with more notifications than you really want or need.

So without checking my emails, it can’t be done, right?

AFAIK that’s the only way. The system does highlight all new posts, but doesn’t make a distinction between those in which you’ve posted and those in which you haven’t.

I know, it’s an old program. Don’t get me started ...

I am living very well with ‘view new posts’ at the start page of the fora. From their I open all threads I might be interested in, open them all in tabs, and then read them one by one. Hopefully I remember at last then also to which threads I have contributed…
