I watched that this morning, pretty wild, the most I’ve seen is puddle pulsate.

In a nutshell, that 7.4 in Mexico last month rippled across the earth and the effects were clearly visible in Death Valley as you will see. While the seismic waves of distant earthquakes are not noticeable to most of us in our cars or homes, the water in Devil’s Hole sure got excited. Really neat. thumbs up!

Fantastic timing, to be there when the S wave arrived!  It was the S wave, right?

I imagine that they knew it was coming.  It looked like they had detection apparatuses set up.

I saw what I thought was a water-sampling device. I am not familiar with the water feature, I’m not sure what the two “bridges” were, perhaps strain gauges, I don’t know, unfortunately.

But I admit to being very curious.
