I just read this story this morning. This is an example of total madness. What can we do to protect ourselves? I attended a Homeowners meeting just before Christmas and for the first time in my life, I am locking my doors. I had a well trained Doberman for years when we lived in the Santa Monica Mountains. I had keys made here for my doors and will have to remember to wear my glasses when walk around the area. Drats!
We protect ourselves by buying guns, of course, as recommended by the NRA and others functioning as shills for the manufacturers of guns and ammunition.
