As this clip from CNN proves.

Is an asteroid the result of global warming?

What’s coming our way? Is this [asteroid] an effect of, perhaps, global warming? Or is this just some meteoric occasion?

Anyone, especially on live television or radio, can slip up and say something inane, but this anchor’s demeanor makes me believe she really is an empty-headed bleach blonde reading the evening news.

I’ll bet Nye laughed till milk came out his nose at that one. Makes you wonder if she was homeschooled or missed the astronomy class discussion on asteroids. No sweety, not hemorrhoids, ASTEROIDS!
