The deletion of a thread without notice or explanation is just a bit heavy handed, and not conducive to free expression.

On further thought, the moderator who does such a thing, is just a bit of a jerk.

The original thread was locked at the decision of the moderators because it had degenerated into disruptive, content-free sniping that was just producing ad hominem attacks in violation of the forum rules. The subsequent threads you started were also free of meaningful content and simply attempts to bait another member, which is a form of trolling.  Furthermore, in your complaint you chose to make a personal attack against a moderator, which is another violation of the rules. Any additional violations of these or other forum rules will result in your being banned from the forum.
