I’ve been watching this Cinemax series.  I find it to be entertaining and compelling drama.  It is fictional and, obviously, I think, relies a lot on dramatic license, but it is a portrayal of social and medical evolution in a New York City Hospital at the beginning of the 1900’s.

I put the topic in this forum category, instead of the Entertainment topic category, as I hope to get the take on the series of persons who are interested in the medical field.

As a fabrication of our own consciousness, our assignations of meaning are no less “real”, but since humans and the fabrications of our consciousness are routinely fraught with error, it makes sense, to me, to, sometimes, question such fabrications.

If you have access to Cinemax and on-Demand, I think it is available from the 1st episode.
