Aren’t we in a way doing that today? Half the taxes in California goes to education. People seem to spend half their productive life being educated. If we put beer, sex and education together we may have a form of nature worship. What comes from these educational centers? A need to save the nature and the earth.
Mike, what is this education you speak of?
I was writing about Learning.
Being possessed by a passion to understand oneself and the world we‘re embedded in.
An honest inner driven desire, need, to absorb and digest all the new information one is offered.
A need to understand or at least grasp the big story of self and god and creation before stepping off this fantastical stage we inhabit for our short moments.
MikeYohe, go back over your “science, science, science” thread,
you’ll find many examples of education,
but not a hint of learning, absorbing, digesting or interacting with the reality of the information being offered.
Seems to me you were always too busy dismissing everything for whatever fancy.
If I’m wrong I’d love to know which posts those might be. Let’s look at them closer.
Oh and you do appreciate you’ve been hiding from some serious questions, regard your habit of committing remorseless,
in fact ruthless, calumny against the good character of a respected scientist and authority in his field.
So tell me Mike, what is this “education” you speak of and what has it been good for?
Cheers, gotta run.
