Secret laws, secret judges, secret courts, secret rulings, and secret jails. And now we are about to find out if we also had secret police operating in the United States. The only news agencies that seems to give a damn and follow up on the issues is the Republican and conservative news. One common factor that is floating to the top is that most involved seem to support the Democratic Party.

Question I have, do any of the democrats here see anything wrong with this type of system?

What the fuk are you talking about?
You alway have the grand claims, sans facts and details.
Perhaps you can call it the Mikie Fantasy Zone?

Your post was particularly freaky for me to read since I been forced to spend the past couple days getting up to speed on Koch bros and their Americans for (Koch’s) Prosperity political machine of political disinformation and quite probably the next political party in Amerika dedicated to and run by oligarchs.

Kochs in-house Political Spy Organization. Mayer, and Vogel. 2015
http://americansforkochsprosperity.blogspot.com/2018/01/kochs-inhouse-political-spies.html

The amount of disturbing information is overwhelming.  Here is are exerts from another New Yorker article by Jane Meyers, describing the Koch in-house political surveillance operation.  It’s followed by Politico’s Kenneth Vogel’s reporting on the unit’s operation along with looking into the strategy and thinking that drives these people.

I’m sharing this because I think the Democrats of La Plata county should be able to take a crash course on what they are up against with this oh so friendly sounding “Americans for Prosperity” who have moved into town with their silver tongues masking sinister intent.

Question I have, do any of the democrats here see anything wrong with this type of system?

THIS IS WHAT DEMOCRACY LOOKS LIKE

NOBODY IS ABOVE THE LAW—MUELLER FIRING RAPID RESPONSE

https://www.trumpisnotabovethelaw.org/event/mueller-firing-rapid-response/search/

Donald Trump is publicly considering firing special counsel Robert Mueller, the person leading the Department of Justice investigation of possible illegal actions by Donald Trump and members of his presidential campaign, and the efforts to conceal those activities.

This would be a constitutional crisis for our country. It would demand an immediate and unequivocal response to show that we will not tolerate abuse of power from Donald Trump.

Our response in the minutes and hours following a power grab will dictate what happens next, and whether Congress—the only body with the constitutional power and obligation to rein Trump in from his rampage—will do anything to stand up to him.

That’s why we’re preparing to hold emergency “Nobody is Above the Law” rallies around the country in the event they are needed.

Use the map or search below by ZIP code to find an event near you, or create one if none exists.

Rallies will begin hours after news breaks of a Mueller firing:

If Mueller is fired BEFORE 2 P.M. local time —>  events will begin @ 5 P.M. local time
If Mueller is fired AFTER 2 P.M. local time —> events will begin @ noon local time the following day
This is the general plan—please confirm details on your event page, as individual hosts may tailor their events to their local plan.

This is our moment to stand up to protect our democracy. Let’s mobilize to show that we won’t let Donald Trump become the authoritarian that he aspires to be. The law applies to all of us, and it’s essential that it also applies to the most powerful people in our country.

GET PREPARED AMERICA - Oligarchs have taken over the Republican Party and are intent on destroying our government and replacing it with their personal government, only We The People are left to thwart their grand scheme of ultimate dominion over us and our lives.

Current Republicans act as though they believe they are above the law, it’s okay to be serial liars, it’s okay to ignore facts, it’s okay to ignore geophysical reality, it okay to believe they are god’s personal warriors (incapable of acknowledging it’s their own EGO’s they are worshipping and serving.)  They genuinely seem to believe it’s okay to put their self-interest above all else.

More total republican hypocrisy by the resident republican hypocrite.

Obama didn’t have free reign to do anything in America, this idea he was a dictator bent on taking over the nation is total republican BS. The Tea Party controlled Congress shut the US government down just because they could, if they had the slightest bit of evidence that Obama was breaking the law he would have been impeached in an instant.

Meanwhile the republicans just passed a bill that will in fact allow trump to fund a private police state and set up his own private army and while some senior republicans complained about it, they passed the bill anyways.

https://theintercept.com/2018/01/22/the-top-republican-warns-under-new-spending-bill-the-intelligence-community-could-expend-funds-as-it-sees-fit/

In a dramatic moment on the Senate floor Monday afternoon, as the upper chamber rushed a spending bill through to end the government shutdown, the top Republican and Democrat on the Intelligence Committee warned that the bill contains language that would kneecap Congress’s ability to oversee secret covert actions and surveillance programs. Their effort to amend the language was rebuffed.

The intelligence community, in its latest grasp, has gone too far even for Richard Burr. The Republican chair of the Senate Intelligence committee has long been one of the Senate’s staunchest advocates for the intelligence agencies, leading the fight to reauthorize surveillance programs and fighting to bury the results of the Senate’s five-year investigation into CIA torture. But he took to the Senate floor Monday to warn that it would compromise Congress’s ability to oversee secret intelligence programs.

“This language could erode the powers of the authorizing committee,” Burr said. “Effectively, the intelligence community could expend funds as it sees fit without an authorization bill in place and with no statutory direction indicating that an authorization bill for 2018 is forthcoming.”

Want to see what the republicans are up to, just look at what they are accusing the Democrats of. That’s how they roll and have for a very long time, blame the other guy for what you’re doing then crush them and take over.

The provision, first reported by The Intercept, appeared in the House version of the spending bill last week and modified the 70–year-old-law that first chartered the CIA. It removed language requiring intelligence agencies to spend money according to Congress’s instructions, and replaced it with a provision that allows the agencies to move money around freely and without Congress’s knowledge. Blackwater founder Erik Prince has recently pitched the administration on a private intelligence force that would report directly to President Donald Trump and CIA Director Mike Pompeo.

The general rule is it depends on whether or not your side is in power.

Keep in mind humans are not rational, we are rationalizers—especially with politics.

So why would this obvious republican troll start posting this garbage right now and why does Olgino boy show up to post as well.

Because instead of directly going after just Mueller, trump is now going after the entire FBI.

https://lawandcrime.com/high-profile/trump-considering-asking-sessions-to-prosecute-mueller-friends-say/

Buried in a NBC News report previewing the State of the Union, is a fairly large bombshell that no one is really paying attention to.

President Donald Trump is apparently considering a move that would have Attorney General Jeff Sessions prosecute special counsel Robert Mueller along with the latter’s army of attorneys and investigators.

The decision to possibly prosecute Mueller is apparently being bandied about amongst Trump and some of his closest friends. An unnamed Trump adviser recently spoke to NBC News‘ Howard Fineman and described the White House’s line of thought on a potential Mueller prosecution:

What “secret police” this troll is talking about is actually the agency that is going after the traitor trump. Which makes anyone backing him this way a traitor as well.

Go live in Russia with Olgino boy if you don’t like America anymore.

Or shut the hell up and let Mueller and his team do their Constitutionally mandated duty to protect America against enemies both foreign and domestic.

Foreign enemy - Putin

Domestic enemy - trump

It’s why trump fired the last FBI director the day before the Russians came to see him.

Wouldn’t surprise me at all if trump is taking instructions from the Kremlin on how to attack the US government. It’s what f…... traitors do.

I have to agree with you. Republicans have been no better in the past and I think most people who really understand what is going on are giving President Trump credit.

I heard Newt Gingrich talking today and he was saying that when people interviewed at colleges were asked what they thought of the Presidents State of the Union speech. They mostly all had the same comments about what the President said that was wrong and misleading, hateful, and racist in the State of the Union speech. The only problem was that they were being asked the day before the State of the Union address even took place. When Hollywood celebrities were asked what they thought of the President’s State of the Union address they had the same responses. When ask if they had watched the SOTU, they said no.

The Washington system is broken. The reason I say that is because when IRS Lois Lerner was being GOD and then blamed Cincinnati workers. She was not prosecuted, she is being rewarded with a big retirement check every month. Hillary’s classified emails are said to been retrieved by at least five countries. It takes years and millions and millions of dollars to find out what has been going on and to find out that law breakers are being rewarded if they are high up in our government. Or are they law breakers?  I watched James Clapper under oath lie to Congress and the American people. I watched congressmen claim they were shocked by NSA Clapper lying to Congress and the American people under oath and that the government was as in fact operating surveillance on Americans and breaking the United States Constitution as Edward Snowden proved. Yet, all these surprised congressmen who claimed that the surveillance would be stopped, and people would go to jail. Voted to increase the funding for the surveillance programs and the only person they want in jail is Snowden.

Why are these people like Lerner, Hillary, and Clapper not in jail? There can only be laws protecting them that we are unaware of or the system is broken.

Ask yourself, who is most likely to harm you or abuse your rights. Some terrorist. Some foreign government. The IRS. The FBI. The Banks. The internet.

Who has lied to you?
President Vladimir Putin vs NSA? NSA
Republican vs Democrat? Draw
Trump vs Republican Party? Republican Party
Trump vs Democrat Party? Democrat Party
Trump vs DOJ? DOJ
Trump vs FBI? FBI
Trump vs Major News Agencies? Major News Agencies

It is looking to me as the real progressive is Trump. People who think they are progressive based on lies are just wasting time. Of the three branches of government, only the executive branch is working hard for us right now.

You mean like that time the US government was dealing coke and running guns to fund literal secret wars?

http://www.slate.com/blogs/browbeat/2017/09/29/what_s_fact_and_what_s_fiction_in_american_made.html

There is also something called “Charlie Wilson’s War”. Or the bombing of Cambodia. Oh, how about Kermit Roosevelt and the overthrow of Mossadegh? At least he fits your profile of Democrat.

I disagree. I watched Clapper lie under oath. And nobody is arguing the fact that he lied under oath. If you perjury like Clapper you would have been put away for 10 years. You can go to YouTube and look for (clapper lying under oath) and watch him lie.

This isn’t about the law for republicans, it’s about loyalty to their Fuhrer.

trump said “lock her up” so like all good little fascists they are aping their betters.

Like Flynn who was saying the same thing in 2016 and is now going to prison.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tx94428MYcc

Keep in mind Flynn is a fully paid employee of the Putin government…

They don’t care that none of these people didn’t commit any crime just like they don’t care that trump committed treason.

They want all the power and all the wealth and screw anybody who gets in their way.

trump says that the FBI is breaking the law so Mike the fascist troll starts a thread about how the “Secret Police” run by the Dems need to be brought to heel.

Who cares that trump just passed a bill that actually will allow him to start his own secret police which his buddy Erik Prince is already saying he will run.

Remember Blackwater slaughtering people on the streets of Iraq for shits and giggles. That will America if trump stays in office much longer.

Many Americans have become accustomed to President Trump’s lies. But as regular as they have become, the country should not allow itself to become numb to them. So we have catalogued nearly every outright lie he has told publicly since taking the oath of office. Updated: The president is still lying, so we’ve added to this list, taking it through Nov. 11, and
