Looks like they did their homework.  Isn’t this the way organized religion started…. i.e. intimidation, threats, all or nothing beliefs, and brainwashing :?:

Yep. I am sure Hubbard knew exactly what he was doing. Didn’t he once said: “The way to make a million dollars is to start a religion”?

[quote author=“rationalrevolution”]Why do people feel such a strong need to believe in sh*t like this, I don’t get it?

Beats me!

[quote author=“wikipedia”]It is a basic belief of Scientology that a human being is actually an immortal spiritual being, termed a thetan, that is presently trapped on planet Earth in a “meat body”. The thetan has had innumerable past lives and it is accepted in Scientology that lives antedating the thetan’s arrival on Earth lived in extraterrestrial cultures.

  LOL  LOL

[quote author=“rationalrevolution”]I would have punched him in the face

No need to punch anybody, RR.  :D Words can do more damage than a physical insultation. Have you seen this ?
