Again, we want something that they are quite likely to unwittingly take on board that has an insulting and sarcastic etymology. Mine for example comes from the Greek Orchid = testicle(s) and agorias = to speak or orate. So if you were to throw in a comment such as “Well, it sounds like you are making an orchidagorian argument, I didn’t realise that there were still advocates of this largely defunct shool of thought.” It would be mean “Well it sounds to me like you are talking bollocks”, and calling it a school of thought might, in their eyes, give it legitimacy whereupon they might apply the word to themselves. So let’s have some more equally low brow suggestions, please.
