...the ACLU has a double standard.  They will fight any Christian encroachment of Jefferson’s famous Wall of Separation, but most any other religion, they give a pass.  They will be taken more seriously by the American public when they start being more principled and drop their double standards.

How does dealing with a sanitation and maintenence problem establish the duty to wash one’s feet before brayer?

It’s a government school, dude.  It takes tax dollars, dude.  It is required by law that children attend school, dude.  If their parents can’t afford a private school, their kids are forced to go to a government school.  Once in this government school, this was a required course activity.  These were captive children!  They had to adopt Islamic mumbo jumbo while in a government school.

What exactly was the Islamic mumbo jumbo they were forced to adopt?

... the ACLU affiliate in Providence, Rhode Island fought for the tax exemption for a Wiccan church, while opposing the tax exemption for a Catholic church.

Show us some evidence to support your allegation.

Never mind, dude.  I found the two cases.

The tax exemption involved in the first case was not the same as in the second case.  In the first case the ACLU fought to get the Wiccan Church the same exemption the Catholics already were getting.

Where’s the double standard?

In the second case, the ACLU opposed a tax exemption for a church that allegedly violated the law that entitled churches to the exemption.  The church supposedly violating the law was a Catholic Church.  There was no mention of a Wiccan Church violating the law.

Where’s the double standard?  Do you have evidence that a Wiccan Church was violating the same law and the ACLU was overlooking it?

The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill required 3,500 students to read and discuss Approaching the Qur’an: The Early Revelations.  This time the ACLU did go to court.  But to support the required reading of what amounts to nothing more than Islamic indoctrination.

Show us some evidence that the material was Islamic Indoctrination.
