Cheers, Brandt and welcome to the CFI forum site. Good to have another Smith here ...
Well, the organization in which I am affiliated with is definitely in accord with the CFI. I (we) are quite attracted to what is happening with the CFI.

Which one is that? (If you feel at liberty to say, of course).
I don’t know. This is from the Euclid Lodge’s website:
“Euclid Lodge is comprised of a unique and exciting community of men drawn from all cross sections and professions in Great Falls, united by their common belief in the Fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of Man; and those Masonic ideals of liberty, equality and fraternity.”
Is your Euclid Lodge united by a common belief in the Fatherhood of God? I guess not since you said previously that your organization is “in an accord with the CFI” (?).

While CFI tends to support freethinkers who are atheistic, CFI is not an organization limited to atheists. One reason for separating the magazines Skeptical Inquirer from Free Inquiry was to underline that CFI has a “broad tent” approach to these subjects.
We tend to have the full gamut of folks under our roof. We are not afraid of ideas
We have atheists, agnostics, gnostics, religious and areligious. We have come together on the subject of reason, logic and education.
Rather than the “fatherhood of God” we are firmly planted in the liberty model.

(tiny light bulb) Thanks.
Or, since i’m off to teach pre-modern philosophy soon, maybe a tiny oil-lamp.

PS: Don’t look at the next semester’s schedule to see if you’re alright for this semester.
