PS: Especially like the formating options, the possibility for entry authors to edit posts later, and the email notification. BTW, if it’s not a proprietary system I would find it good practice to acknowledge the underlying software by stating its name somewhere ("powered by").

No idea; that’s a matter for our techies to answer. But FWIW a number of us are somewhat less than enthused with it. There are other very good professional quality forum software packages (e.g., vBulletin, etc.); you might want to check them out as well.

Thanks for the hint. Would you mind telling me the drawbacks you perceive? Then I can watch out for those when looking at other software.
