I not particularly fond of Hillary. I think she says whatever she thinks she needs to say to get votes. Not a very honorable quality obviously. Obama is probably a better choice but health care reform is an important topic for me and he just doesn’t seem to understand what its going to take to do something in that area. Either he’s completely clueless and hasn’t researched the problem thoroughly yet ( scary for someone this close to the presidency), or he’s just playing his cards close to the vest for the moment. This is going to be a tough choice.

McCain? This is just four more years of Bush in a different wrapper. His comprehension of sceince and tehcnology is abysmal, and what’s worse is he doesn’t seem to think this is a big problem. That’s not something we can tolerate in a president who’s going to be making decisions on things like stem cell research, global warming, our declining scientific and technological literacy( how is he going to fix this problem when he is comfortable with his own science and technology illiteracy), and the need to develop renewable energy sources. We may not agree with them, but at least the democrats have thought about solutions to the health care, global warming, and Iraq problems. McCain doesn’t even think these things are a problem. He’s proposing more business as usual in all these areas.

For every complex problem there is a solution that is simple, obvious,.... and just plain wrong

Right now my vote is going to Obama.

Personal preferences aside, both Obama and Hillary have similar programs and recipes to fix the national problems. If their solutions are quite the same, they should probably run together as Prez and Vice.

Of course, any of them is a much better choice than McCain.
