So, Matt (bubblehead) Lauer grudgingly has to report that the Phoenix UFOs were just flares on balloons, but then they do a whole segment on two P.I.s “investigating” some bogus UFO photos from California. No skeptics to counter, just Matt and Meredith to say how they believe in aliens. Just shameless.

My roommate claimed there was a UFO seen over Seattle, but nothing I could find on the news websites could confirm anything she said. I finally said, it’s subjective hysteria. 

I watched part of some show in the History channel called “UFO Hunters” the other day, and it was very disappointing the way they automatically assumed there was this massive government cover-up.

It is strange that some people think that they can clearly identify “unidentified” flying objects.  It is even stranger that they think that they can hunt them.

So, it turns out these mysterious photos the PIs are investigating are part of a viral campaign for the HALO video game. How stupid is Matt Lauer and the Today Show?
