Any MySpace users on CFI Forums?

I really wish I could post mine, But I can’t risk it.

Thats the life of being an atheist.

I would love to show you the photo’s of my collection of humanist history and memorabilia. I decided about 6 months ago to start a collection of Humanist artifacts. newspapers, writers, signatures, etc…

I recently won a Margaret Sanger letter off of Ebay from 1930 typed on a official letter head “National Committee on Federal Legislation for Birth Control” and I also snagged a signed Linus Pauling letter on Ebay, plus I just got a batch of 50 “The Humanist” publications for ten bucks off of Ebay. I also snagged an original newspaper from the 1800’s which states the first meeting of the NY free thinkers association, and a bunch of other odds and ends items that are really neat.

It’s been fun researching and collecting all this stuff.

I hope to have a serious collection in the next decade.

Not exactly an original idea, but a common thread I see on other forums. Thank you for the kind words. Not sure which site you’re referring to, but thank you nonetheless.

Sorry RCO, my mistake. I looked a little deeper - congrats are still in order for the positive life changes you have been brave enough to make!

I read your blog about hatred and god-pushing in drug rehab. You handled yourself quite well, IMO. You refrained from violence and made your points quite clear. When that doesn’t work, I don’t know what else you can do with those people. Is there anything like CFI’s SOS program near you??? Seems like that would be a perfect fit.

There is a CFI in Portland, OR, but I am 120 miles (give or take a mile) away. I thought about contacting the ACLU about the state DSHS (welfare) sending me to a 12-step rehab that pushed god, however I thought they got me off alcohol so it’s all fair.

I’ve got a personal site, a MySpace page, a Facebook page, a Twitter account… Heh. I’m an internet social butterfly.

I’m also new here. Will post in the introductions forum in a bit after I’ve poked around.

Sorry, we old fuds don’t have the modern understanding to see the value of myspace and similar.  I tried, but didn’t feel it fit my personality.
