Just saying hello before I slink off to lurk in your forum not saying much but appreciating the taste of sanity it offers.
Moved to Colorado a couple of years ago from Australia, which I had moved to from New Zealand quite some years ago now.
Can’t get over how religious this country is, heh, it’s been something of a rude shock.
Uhm...I’m a card-carrying member of the American Humanist Association (it’s true, I have the little wallet card with a picture of Kurt Vonnegut on it, it rocks) and occasionally skulk about in Second Life as one of the Brights.
I’m a stubborn gal who got kicked out of Girl Guides on the first day for refusing to say the oath because there was a “God” reference. Good times!
