I am going to be doing a persuasive speech and i am thinking about doing Why we shouldn’t teach creationism in schools. I was wondering what books/ resources do you think would be the best to use?

Great Idea Z.  That should be controversial yet classroom appropriate.  Here are some links that should help:

National Center for Science Education - Eugenie Scott has done a lot for keeping Creationism out of classrooms

The PBS show Judgment Day: Intelligent Design on Trial - gives a great explanation of the arguments + some extra resources.  It would be helpful to lay out how many times this argument has shown up in history by other names.
