This is a thread I am making because sadly I am annoyed.

For the past while now, the only new thread in this section has been, “Why is Occam a Moderator”, and frankly I feel the whole thread and question is/was stupid and I’d like to bump it off the little “newest topic” thingy under this section.

Is this a proper use of the forum, and in particular this section? Likely not, but in keeping with the section I would like to know why CFI doesn’t mail out milk and cookies to everyone who registers their accounts.

Oh, and kittens. I like getting kittens in the mail, just make sure you make a few holes in their heads before you mail them so they can breathe.

Anyhow, stay rational.

Pie. Milk. Happiness.

Hey, if you guys are bored, I’d love to know how to upload an image into a post using the little <img> thing. I’m usually computer savvy, but I’ve never posted an image before. It seems to link to images online, but what if the image is on my hard drive? Just wondering.

I also wonder if some newcomers would like a list of common forum lingo, example, IMO for In My Opinion? I recently saw a post from someone who seemed a bit lost, and wanted some information on “forum basics.” This is a good point, many people may be new to forums and could use a little tutorial.

CFI Would have to host your image for you to put it on CFI forum that would involve you uploading your picture to CFI. CFI does not host pictures so you cannot directly place a picture from you computer to CFI. Fortunately there are a bunch of free video and picture hosting sites all you have to do is make an account, you tube for video, photo bucket for picture.

Go to photobucket.com make an account and upload pictures you want to post on the web, below the picture photobucket provides you with an “image url” place the image url inside the symbols and it will be displayed in your post.
