Central england probably needs a lot of water clearing from it before it can be considered fit for humanist habitation.  And when they arrive, they can exchange gifts with the local tribe (The Brummies) and enchant them with tales from the civilised world.

I don’t have many nice things to say about Texas from our trips down there and our horrible vacation we had this past spring down there. I have a better place; New Mexico as it has everything as is still laid back and the last state where you still have a lot of freedoms you don’t have in other states. And there are large forests, deserts, mountains, lakes, rivers, the most beautiful scenery in the country and there it is a melting pot of all sorts of cultures.

Yes..lets do it.  We can call it an experiment much like democracy is.  Humanist democratic counties one at a time.
It would be fun and we’d learn alot.  Lead by example and as the populace watched they’ed want in.  Peaceful societal evolution based on constitutional and ecological principles.  Our founding fathers would be proud if it was done right.  New Mexico is my choice too.

It also solves a problem I have with humanism.. Too much rhetoric..not enuff action.

You can keep Texas, I’d rather go to Boodocky as it is a theist free country where the only churches are the Unchurch of Boodocky which has no windows or doors, the Holely Rumhead Catlick Church and the Church of Dog.

Or if you don’t want to go there go to Catron County New Mexico where all the people that do not fit in anywhere else go to live.

psikeyhackr, I spent half of my childhood in Rhode Island, and my parents lived, and my daughter lives on the island of Hawaii.  I spent quite a bit of time there.  And, I assure you that it’s not a tough call.

Look at the world’s most popular religion, Christianity.  These motherf**kers didn’t just sit on a chat forum and talk about Christ.  They got off their asses and went around writing letters and preaching about a new way of life.  Whether Jesus was divine is not my point, I am solely talking about promoting a way of life.

So, how many people have you converted to Humanism?  I haven’t converted even one person, but if we believe that this is the way to peace on earth and good will towards fellow man then why aren’t we out there?
