Rhyl’s no use either, I live very close to the Welsh border, we get immigrants coming into England from there all the time.

I certainly wouldn’t want to encourage any more male voice choir singing Troglodytes to cross Offa’s dyke from West to East! wink

Perhaps I should reconsider?

There’s an area in central England that might do nicely.

Unfortunately there’s a bit of old rubble that might need clearing first…

There are 10 types of people in the world.

Those who understand binary numbers and those who do not.

Central england probably needs a lot of water clearing from it before it can be considered fit for humanist habitation.  And when they arrive, they can exchange gifts with the local tribe (The Brummies) and enchant them with tales from the civilised world.

... and we can apply the “final solution” to the non-humanists…

Well, they’d only be Brummie non-humanists so it wouldn’t really count.

snake Texas?! What are you trying to do be insulting?! Why I would rather get a piece of Siberia before I would move to Texas.
I don’t have many nice things to say about Texas from our trips down there and our horrible vacation we had this past spring down there. I have a better place; New Mexico as it has everything as is still laid back and the last state where you still have a lot of freedoms you don’t have in other states. And there are large forests, deserts, mountains, lakes, rivers, the most beautiful scenery in the country and there it is a melting pot of all sorts of cultures.

Yes..lets do it.  We can call it an experiment much like democracy is.  Humanist democratic counties one at a time.
It would be fun and we’d learn alot.  Lead by example and as the populace watched they’ed want in.  Peaceful societal evolution based on constitutional and ecological principles.  Our founding fathers would be proud if it was done right.  New Mexico is my choice too.

It also solves a problem I have with humanism.. Too much rhetoric..not enuff action.

:

-P What about all the Humanists having their own country?  Say let’s go get a piece of Texas.  All of us get together and settle in one town, elect ourselves to all the political positions.  We could create a God-free zone! What say y’all?

You can keep Texas, I’d rather go to Boodocky as it is a theist free country where the only churches are the Unchurch of Boodocky which has no windows or doors, the Holely Rumhead Catlick Church and the Church of Dog.

Or if you don’t want to go there go to Catron County New Mexico where all the people that do not fit in anywhere else go to live.

Gotta minimize that collateral damage.

psikeyhackr, I spent half of my childhood in Rhode Island, and my parents lived, and my daughter lives on the island of Hawaii.  I spent quite a bit of time there.  And, I assure you that it’s not a tough call.  LOL

I think on the contrary…

Look at the world’s most popular religion, Christianity.  These motherf**kers didn’t just sit on a chat forum and talk about Christ.  They got off their asses and went around writing letters and preaching about a new way of life.  Whether Jesus was divine is not my point, I am solely talking about promoting a way of life.

So, how many people have you converted to Humanism?  I haven’t converted even one person, but if we believe that this is the way to peace on earth and good will towards fellow man then why aren’t we out there?

Shit, even those whacko Scientologists (who believe in immortality of course, so weird) leave pamphlets on my doorstep at least once a week inviting me down to hang with Tom Cruise and whoever else is on crack.
