A black hole would be probable because most modern physics experiments exclude a lot of things out of an equation.

However I don’t think that this LHC is capable of producing one, maybe the suggested upgrade will.
Scientists have proposed to make an upgrade of the LHC called the Super LHC by 2012.
I think the upgrade might be capable of producing such a black hole that would end our planet.

Figured there was no point in starting another LHC thread, so…

LHC offline for months

What are the odds this gives the naysayers and morons time to try to intervene in the final test? I think one of the things CERN had going for them was momentum (no pun intended) in that things were moving along quite rapidly and they weren’t giving people time to interfere. Now, if they’re offline for months, what could be the impact to the project?

Can’t we all just get along?

I thought that the idiots who started the lawsuit to stop it filed it in Hawaii. If that is true, how can it possibly have any effect on CERN ?

I heard them on Coast to Coast with George Numbnuts and well. . .

Ever since the Soviet Union failed to start WWIII, a lot of these people have way too much time on their hands.
