The abortion one is always the ONE I have an issue answering. I wan’t to put strongly agree and strongly disagree at once.
One this one I wrote “Mothers may have careers, but their first duty is to be homemakers.” agree, but I think it needs to be extended to fathers too. Parents may have careers, but their first duty is to be homemakers.
Mothers may have careers, but their first duty is to be homemakers.
I have taken this before, and in the past year I have become more and more libertarian. I used to get left and authoritarian.

Big surprise, solidly Old Left.
We’ve had a couple fo previous threads on the political orientation of members here. THIS is probably the closest to the topic of the current thread.
At the time, the following were our survey results, though the number of people voting was small and the categories contentious.

Interesting. I’m more towards Libertarian than I expected.
Economic Left/Right: -4.12
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.31
Yes, you are about where I am, I would never describe myself as Libertarian.
In this context libertarian is only referring to civil rights/liberties, civil libertarians can be found in both left and right wing politics. Don’t get that confused with the complete political philosophy libertarianism which is right wing; examples would be Mike Gravel and Ron Paul.
Fascinating. I took this test a few years ago and I was somewhat farther up and to the right than I am now. I’m becoming more libertarian and less authoritarian in my old age. That is, more radical.
Like asanta, I haven’t the slightest idea of how to bring that page here. My numeric results were:
Economic Left/Right: -8.62
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.56
When viewing the finished graph on the website, I right clicked on it and chose “save image as” and saved it to my desktop. Then in my reply I included it as an attachment using the tool at the bottom of the “reply” screen. You can do it Occam - I know you can!
