I was saddened to learn that Richard Wright, the longtim keyboardist for Pink Floyd passed away yesterday.  Wright wrote Us & Them and The Great Gig in the Sky from the enormously successful album Darkside of the Moon and made significant contributions to numerous other classic Pink Floyd songs.

Richard Wright will be immortalized for a long time due to his contributions to the world of music,and therefore the World.    

IMO, The Great Gig In The Sky is the most beautiful/poignant songs ever recorded.
