I thought this might be a good thread for people to post humorous pieces where everyone could come for a laugh now and then. We’ve previously posted these Gina Gershon and Tina Fey impersonations of Sarah Palin - both very funny!

Tina Fey is spot on. Even Palin herself said it was great, and has mentioned going on the show in the future to “spoof the spoofs.”

I’ll wager Palin mentioned that to fish for recognition of her own viability.Now that she is realizing that her VP opportunity is fading,she’s going to want to keep “the face"out there.
  I know this is in complete violation of the grain of this thread,but why are we in this cycle of TV show qualifiers for leaders?I’m sorry,but there is no levity in my response.We could possibly be on the brink of economic meltdown.
  I read this appalling piece today in the entertainment section of my Warren Buffet owned newspaper.It was a gossipy section,and the gist was that Sarah Palin wasn’t going away.She’s a new player in the forum.

Vyazma, your post is kind of insulting to me. Look, I don’t care for Palin, and many of her political stances frighten me. I will obviously not be voting for the McCain/Palin ticket do to those concerns, and other concerns as well. I just thought it was flattering to Tina Fey that even Palin herself got a laugh out of the skit. I thought that was funny. I’m sure the other candidates got a kick out of their impersonations as well. It’s like being roasted.

I spend 95% of my time dead serious about this election. If I can’t have a laugh now and then, I’d be horribly depressed. I’m just as concerned about the economy and the election as everyone else. Humor can be therapeutic.
