Tor, you have now posted over a dozen messages that are virtually content free. This is a forum for discussion and inquiry. I have already had to delete one photo for being unsuitable, and this one is very borderline as well. Poaching threads with pointless artwork, silly comments and a link to your blog is irritating, and comes closer and closer to spamming. Please consider a different tack. Spamming is not allowed here and will result in being banned.

Ah yes, a genius in his own mind. LOL

Occam

EDIT:  On rereading I would have to say they contain only fifty percent of the content you think they do.  That is, they are half-vast. LOL

I can’t possibly be the only Alaskan!  Come on, lurkers, we may be big in size and small in population, but I know there’s more than one of me!

It’s not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.  Barack Obama

We are “Science Union” public-political movement from Russian Federation (http://www.nauchnii-soyuz.narod.ru, “narod” is people). We stand for the “United State of Earth” (“USE”) and support “Humanist Manifesto 2000” - to add to it -> http://www.centerforinquiry.net/forums/viewthread/5817. In Russian our name sounds as “Nauchnii Soyuz”, (“soyuz” is union). Our symbol is “Sputnik-1” - the mankind’s first satellite in space (see our avatar). You are welcome to join!

So who’s bored/stat-savvy enough to plot all this?  Or to browse through user profiles’ self-reported locations and plot those instead?

We know, from last year’s American Religious Identification Survey—the monumental report that showed American freethought’s rise and religion’s stagnancy or decline—where in the U.S. we find the most nontheists (see http://b27.cc.trincoll.edu/weblogs/AmericanReligionSurvey-ARIS/reports/part3c_geog.html ).  I’d love to see how these forums’ membership matches or doesn’t match it.  If the latter, maybe it’s time to promote these forums to the underserved regions.
