This has come up on other boards and it’s caught my eye because of the West Virginia (my adopted home state) connection. The link is always to a flickr page (if not this same page). I don’t know where this sign was posted but if it was in WV it escaped my notice via state media. I don’t know when this was either but the following timing information on Father Briggs is curious:

Monongah is about two hours drive from me. I’ve been there a few times for work. Now it’s a quiet suburb of Fairmont but it’s mostly known for a tremendous mining disaster:
