I heard historian Jennifer Michael Hecht, the author
of _Doubt: _A_History: _The_Great_Doubters_and_Their_Legacy_of_Innovation_from_Socrates_and_Jesus_to_Thomas_Jefferson_and_Emily_Dickinson_,
interviewed by Krista Tippett on NPR this morning, and I
