Arial is fine, Occam. If everybody who is not a designer tried to stick to Arial, the world would be a better place.  grin

As far as Helvetica in body copy is concerned, it can be done (and I have used it myself) but one really has to be careful with choosing the right weight (depending on the amount of copy), and also give it some room to “breathe,” known as “tracking.” Since one can’t properly track and kern in programs like Microsoft Word (if at all—I rearly don’t want to know   grin ), I think people are better off staying away from Helvetica for larger amount of text. If anybody thinks they need to use sans serif for a larger publication, Univers is a safe choice.
