George’s posts sometimes remind me of a modern day deep south joke.
A bus with little black and white boys and girls go to the zoo. Along the way the kids are hurling racial insults to each other. This continues even during the visit at the zoo.
Finally it is time for the kids to leave and by this time the driver is sick of the constant bickering. So he gathers all around him and sternly admonishes them that he is sick of all these black and white insults. He tells them that from now on everyone is green, no exceptions.
Then he urges them back onto the bus and reminds them that “dark green sits in the back of the bus”.
the most attractive people are bi or multi-racial.
No, white people are the most attractive.
That’s right, there is no generalization that makes sense in either of these cases.
Quite true, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have our opinion and I will admit, have two bi-racial sons, I am very biased to bi and multi-racial children. What sort of mother would I be if I told them my complexion was more beautiful than theirs?
In regards to Obama, he identifies himself as black, physically and socially, even though he was raised by his white mother and her parents. His African father abandoned him because he was a deadbeat piece of shit who couldn’t take responsibility for his life. If it wasn’t for his “white side” of the family, he would have been an orphan on the street. I bet Michelle hates that! Race does exist as a biological cocept and a social concept. A little bit of genetic difference is all it takes.
My sons identify as both Black and White, but were raised by me.
A mom can’t be trusted to give accurate reports of what her kids are like. One ID will take the lead.

I hear you.

George still looks like an ape, no matter his complexion.

Except for some very isolated pockets on earth, none of us is really identifiable as one or another anymore.
Get your DNA sequenced and you’ll see that’s not true.
Have to side with George on this one.
Perhaps outwardly, but not genetically. Moreover aside from dna, atomically we have bits and piece of every human that has walked the eath.
No, genetically. And yes, we do all have bits of everyone. Every breath we take includes atoms that have been breathed by everyone in history. It’s quite amazing how distributed it all gets.
