Damn, Analytic’s getting all worked up.

did you mean A. or CC?
A. just seems to have gone into hiding.

How is it that folks that can proclaim so proudly, tend to go to ground so totally… when called on to defend, perhaps justify, their fantasies?

Both really.  Analytic was getting so worked up I thought he was going to hyperventilate.  Do you think he passed out?

You got worked up too, but differently.  Like you were ready to uppercut a bitch or something.

Christopher Monckton is at it again. He is trying to get John Abrahmam fired from his university position for daring to point out the glaring flaws in his denialism screed: http://scienceblogs.com/classm/2010/07/support_honesty_in_the_climate.php

It’s a great list. Thanks.

Jackson, it is also an app for the iPhone, if you have one. I think he is working on one for the Android.

Guys, come on.  Of course the Earth is warming.  It’s the tail end of an ice age.  It’s natural.  Yes, there’s too much CO2 in the atmosphere, and the ozone layer is depleting, but if we cut off all CO2 emissions and hazardous chemicals, it wouldn’t change the fact that we are going to warm like crazy.  Just part of the deal.
Enjoy the Globe while you can.

I just heard another consequence of AGW.  Apparently, poison ivy and its two relatives have been growing much more rapidly across the U.S. and have more of the toxic oil on their leaves.  According to the plant physiologist who works in this area, he said that while all plants respond to increased CO2 in their atmosphere, poison ivy seems to be most effective at extracting it and growing more vertantly.

Of course, it had to be poison ivy. Why not hop, vine or marijuana?  smirk

LOL Another reason to stop AGW, it is not promoting the growth of the proper vegetation!!

You know, not all of the effects of Global Warming are necessarily bad.  For instance, it could very well be blunting an ice age, which we’re apparently supposed to be coming up on.  It also appears to be helping the rain forest regrow.  And it could prevent deaths from cold.  For some reason, nearly everything is deadlier in winter and even things like digestive disorders and heart attacks spike in the winter.

You missed the winky face.  It implies a certain amount of irony, sarcasm, and not so seriousness.

Anyway.  I can play the link game too.

(That face does the same as the winky one).

The real debate over AWG IMO is not about the science. It’s about political and economic control.

When conservative leadership can discover a way to benefit from the threat of GW they will beat the others to the feeding trough.

[Insert image of politicians feeding at a trough here]

Sorry, found a great image however it’d cost me $12 to reproduce it here, and I’m a cheap bastard.
