CINCINNATI - Millions worldwide believe in the power of prayer. Dr. Issam Nemeh, M.D., has made prayer his main tool in healing the sick in his Cleveland medical practice.

Dr. Nemeh is coming to Cincinnati for a healing service Saturday at St. Clare’s Chapel near Wyoming. . . .

He says he is a man of science, and a man of God. “I cannot separate science from spirituality.”

Dr. Nemeh was a Cleveland-area heart surgeon and anesthesiologist when he decided to add prayer to the arsenal of treatments offered to his patients. He still practices medicine, including alternative treatments like acupuncture, but he also uses faith healing in his medical office. . . .

He has obviously done the impossible (separating science from spirituality) if he thinks that prayer has non-placebo effects.
