there was never a time, where science was so useful to provide scientific knowledge, which leads to agnostic theism.

What is that supposed to mean??

Science confirms the bible was scientifically accurate.

hmmm…God creates light and separates light from darkness, and day from night, on the first day. Yet he didn’t make the light producing objects (the sun and the stars) until the fourth day (1:14-19). And how could there be “the evening and the morning” on the first day if there was no sun to mark them?

why is there something, rather than nothing ?

the universe had a beginning
everything that begins to exist, has a cause.
since the universe had a beginning, it had a cause.

We don’t know yet is the proper answer.  If EVERYTHING that begins has a cause, that STILL doesn’t explain a ‘god’ which then MUST ALSO have a cause…which begs a question….

- the fine-tuning of the universe.

there are up to date over 120 finetune constants known to man.
how can these be explained, unless a ID finely tuned them to life ?
the vastness of the universe is entailed to our existence.
If it would not the that large, we could not exist.
the solar - moon - earth system is finely tuned to life

No, you have it backward. We are fine tuned to existence on earth. If the earth were different, we would also be different.

abiogenesis is not possible - its evidence that a naturalistic explanation can be discarded
the complexity of the cell is evidence of a creator

2+2 is not 3, therefore it is 5. No you can’t get from we don’t know to there is necessarily a creator, and dismissing all other options, including, we don’t know yet. We attributed disease to ‘gods’, until we learned about germ theory. You are in need of a good college biology class.

Adonai888,

You still haven’t told me how science confirms that a woman was created from a man’s rib.

Science does not need to confirm everything that is written in the bible.

Adonai888,

Science does not need to confirm everything that is written in the bible.

The only problem here is that science says that a woman was not created from a man’s rib as the Bible claims.

Science shows that these things in the bible are just plain wrong.

Religion and science can be made compatible. Like everything else in life religion requires interpretation. Even the Bible, like any other book, which is all it is, has to be interpreted. So a religious person, if they wanted to, could interpret their religious beliefs to make them compatible with science. With regard to the Christian Bible, I don’t think the Bible itself says anything about how it is to be interpreted (I might be wrong about this, and is I am I’d be interested in knowing exactly what it says). So if that is right, interpreting the Bible to be compatible with science might be very easy, just takes some imagination.
