I had a little password trouble, I couldn’t login.  Although I hadn’t changed my password in a long time, suddenly this forum rejected my password.  Why I don’t know, maybe someone just made a small mistake deleting my password, or maybe something malicious happened?

Anyway I reset it and can login fine now.  I’m just writing to make it public, so that if it happens to anyone else we can tell that my incident wasn’t just a fluke.

FWIW I’ve talked with the technical folks here and there are some SNAFUs with the way the system handles passwords generally, under certain odd conditions. I’ve had some issues as well.
