Yeah, got to check out the prior posts, especially those from a few people like Asanta.
That’s one of the good/bad things about being a moderator; I have to at least skim just about everyone’s posts.
Occam
I should have known that someone would have come up with it first. It was such an easy shot that Asante was right to question why no one in the crowd took it.
You’d be amazed at how fast I can skim and scroll though them.
It wouldn’t be so bad if they didn’t include five totally separate ideas in one long, rambling posts. Better if they split it into five small posts. That way everyone could focus on the ideas that made sense and ignore the dingy ones.
See, I’m the opposite. I prefer it as one post. Otherwise it’s just annoying. It’s like they have brain diarrhea or ADD or are veering close to spamming.

It is annoying scrolling down through a huge post to get to the points you want to emphasize or refute. Especially when the argument is all over the map.

It’s just as annoying scrolling past fifteen smaller posts. Really, what’s the difference if someone posts one long post or chops it up into a dozen smaller ones? It’s the same rambling, scattershot crap only the numerous smaller ones just make more to scroll past given the spacing and extra graphics.
Nah, I can take in a three to five line post quickly enough to decide whether it’s worth reading and move to the next one, while a long one, especially that quotes equally long passages from prior posts needs a lot more time to read until I can decide that it wasn’t worth it.
