At first, I presumed the latter, but upon further analysis, I found that the correct answer is difficult to discern. I think the argument can be made that Humanism is- if not possibly more- consistent with Objectivism, in that in its epistemology there exists a very concrete axiological framework that is attainable through the human faculties. I’m not so sure that this argument will hold up under fire, but again, it can certainly be made. What are your thoughts?
It’s not closely aligned with either one, though it does seem that Objectivists (and Libertarians generally) are more interested in CFI’s goals than postmodernists are. I don’t think postmodernists would have much of anything in common with CFI’s enlightenment ideals of promoting science and reason. OTOH the statements of humanism aren’t very compatible with Objectivism, either.
