OK, I finally figured out how to upload a picture as a .jpg someone took of me, but when I tried it, it said it only too 50kb and the .jpg was 402 kb. How can I cut it back to 50kb?

I haven’t used it myself. Someone else recommended it.

If you’d like, Occam, I give you my e-mail address (via PM), you can send me the photo and I will adjust it for you. Let me know.
How can someone update his profile if he is stuck in time ?
Are you getting all metaphysical on us now?
nah, it’s just that time hasn’t changed anything for me
hmmm. Sounds like the makings of a new thread:
Has time changed anything for you?
Trying to come up with a cute answer, I’m finding it a more difficult question than I assumed.
Kids are older, yips the oldest hit thirty.
This past half year haven’t had a thing to build, but after decades of nonstop work, I’m lovin being out of work and employed in my own follies full time for a change.
Disappointment with society’s sheeple and the masters of the universe keeps growing.
I still love the sunrise and the moonrise and a walk in the country.
Sometimes I think the more I learn the less it matters.
and so on and so forth…
I find that compressing a jpeg down to about 35% of it’s full resolution has few artifacts and looks good, with lots of compression, for most photographs, but not that good looking for cartoons. Use the GIMP. You can’t adjust the compression on most of the images including GIFs, TIFFs, BMPs, etc. SVGs are uncompressed vector images, not bitmaps.
