Ah well thank you. You know, after I posted here, it occurred to me that I don’t think I’d ever posted the four links in my profile all in one place. All my online personae, crashing into each other!
I agree with Traveler — Welcome. And, I thought your personae blended well with each other. It just meant you are a complex person, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
I’m from the old school of the online world where we were protective of our actual identities… It’s still a little weird to me to even see my real first name in phosphors. (Yes it’s really Dorion. Which Christoper Hitchens got a chuckle out of.)
I took a look at Occam and think he is a very pleasant and handsome looking man. He has his hair and a smile. What more could anyone expect? My Avatar was taken 6 years ago and the only change was a severe haircut because I spend many hours a week working out in the pool. I have aged badly due to my many years in the sun and pool water. It doesn’t matter a bit. I looked good when it mattered. My skin has all the texture of a dried up fig. I tend to attract bugs around our pool.
What is more Public Profile? We all lean into Atheism, Secular Humanism and a touch of humor not found in church. No?
I think you look beautiful in your photo, Sandy. And because they pay me big money for my good taste, my opinions on aesthetics are more than just some subjective babble.
Although I don’t have the credentials George has, I certainly agree with his evaluation of Sandy’s appearance.
Dorion, I agree with you about privacy, but we have lost essentially all of it through modern technology including the Internet, so that I’ve given up.

Occam
Yes and no, Occam… the information that most people will find about you online is information that you yourself have posted. So it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.
