It depends on the light and the cameras setting and filters being used. A 30 second shutter setting would probably result in in a wipeout through overexposure if done during the day.
In the Chaiten photo, if you look closely just to the left of the “Eye of Satan”, there’s a tiny, bearded face. Looks like it could be Nostradamus or someone. Or maybe Frank Zappa.
OK, I went back and looked. By the time I was through, I found six faces in that picture, and I bet I could find at least four or five more after a couple of glasses of wine.
