Freethinkers Day (a.k.a. Thomas Paine Day)

Starts
Sunday, January 29th 2012

Freethinkers Day (aka Thomas Paine Day) is a day to celebrate and practice freedom of expression, freedom of conscience and the freedom to seek truth and challenge dogmas, including ones own.

This date was chosen because it correlates with the birthday of Thomas Paine [O.S. January 29, 1736], a visionary leader and enlightenment secularist of the American Revolution.
